Care Management in Raleigh
Care management staff in Raleigh will continue the same services upon which clients have come to rely on. Cheryl will continue in the leadership role as the NC Triangle Area President and Amanda, Deb, Karen, Lisa, and Meike will all continue to care for their clients.
In 1993, Cheryl formed the first private care management company in the Triangle area, Aging Family Services, growing her team to six other professionals and partnering with Wake County to provide public Guardianship services. Being the ever vigilant leader and planning for the future, Cheryl begin to recognize that her five-year plan included planning for retirement. Because of her commitment to her clients and staff, she did not want to simply abandon them or risk a new owner who might take the company in a bad direction. Cheryl began seeking out a partner who would share the same values: love of older adults, balanced competency of the health care system as well as family dynamics, willingness to advocate for the quality of life sought by clients, and commitment to providing a caring, fair and pleasant workplace. Cheryl’s search paid off when she met the that person, who was Gretchen.
Aging Family Services is excited to join forces with the LifeLinks team and continue to transform the experience of caregiving in the Raleigh and Nashville areas.
